Aishwarya Rai spotted bonding with Dustin Hoffman: Bollywood beauty Aishwarya Rai who is the international face of Bollywood was recently spotted bonding with the Hollywood actor Dustin Hoffman.

Aishwarya and Hoffman reportedly met in Los Angeles at an exhibition basketball game at Staples Center. Hoffman had come with his son Jake, and Ash was with her husband Abhishek Bachchan.

Reports say Ash and Hoffman bonded for some time on the sidelines of the game. They spoke about films. The meeting was more than just a mere exchange of pleasantries but still did not last long as the two got busy cheering up the basketball teams they supported.

Aishwarya and Abhishek have also been invited to the Oscars this year, as was revealed by Amitabh Bachchan recently. In fact Ashutosh Gowariker is also expected to attend the gala awards night.

Aishwarya Rai & Abhishek Bachchan is going to attend Oscars!: The most charismatic couple of Bollywood is going to attend Oscars this Sunday. Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan, who are currently in Los Angeles, have been invited by the Academy to attend the Oscars.

Amitabh Bachchan himself broke the news first. The superstar blogged yesterday about Abhishek-Aishwarya meeting Warren Beatty at a store in LA. He writes, “Oh ! And incidentally they were getting fitted at a clothes store, for the Oscars Award ceremony for Sunday - Warren and Abhishek ! Ya , Abhishek and Aishwarya have been invited by the Academy to attend the Oscars on Sunday.”

Director Ashutosh Gowariker is also invited and may attend the Oscars.

By the way, A R Rahman is also going to be there as he is nominated in two categories. Whether he wins or not, we’re sure Ash-Abhi will root for him.

Can’t wait to see Aishwarya and Abhishek at the Oscars.

Aishwarya Rai will become a Sanjay Dutt's wife?

Aishwarya Rai will become a Sanjay Dutt's wife? If things go as planned, the remake of the 70s superhit Satte Pe Satta will see the stunning Aishwarya Rai doing the role of Hema Malini opposite Sanjay Dutt.

It’s no one else but Ash. Earlier the rumours were rife that Vidya Balan will do the role but as per sources Sanjay Dutt wants only Ash. “We don't know how the rumour started that Vidya had been signed to play Sanju’s wife in Satte Pe Satta. Nobody even approached her. Dutt is extremely keen that we sign Aishwarya to play the female lead opposite him,” a source tells a tabloid.

The film is going to be produced by Sanjay’s own production house, and it’s heard that Ash who is also close to the Dutt household, has shown interest in doing the remake. Since she is now in New Zealand holidaying with hubby Abhishek Bachchan, who is shooting there for Abbas-Mastan’s film Players, the writer of Satte Pe Satta remake will especially fly down to New Zealand to give her a story narration.

Till now Ash has worked with Sanjay in only two films: Hum Kisi Se Kum Nahin (2002) and Shabd (2005). Both the films were flops.

Ghanta Award: Aishwarya Rai wins worst actress: Aishwarya Rai is awarded with the worst actress Ghanta award at the award show which is a rip-off of Hollywood’s Razzies.

Last year Aishwarya Rai had four films. If she won the hearts of her Tamil fans with her Endhiran opposite Rajinikanth, she also bowled over the audience with her beauty and acting in Guzaarish, but her Action Replayy was a big let-down and her detractors didn’t spare her for Raavan too.

So, the actress has been named the worst of the lot at the Ghanta Awards.

Ghanta Awards as the name suggests acknowledges the best of worst in Bollywood from Diwali 2009 - Diwali 2010. Who are the other winners:

Golden Kela Awards nomination list: Shahrukh Khan and Aishwarya Rai nominated: The man who swept the best actor award in many of the recent award events is nominated in Golden Kela Worst actor category. Shahrukh Khan’s acting in My Name Is Khan has earned him a worst actor nomination. Hrithik Roshan also joins him in the league with his acting in Guzaarish. Aishwarya Rai is nominated for Golden Kela worst actress for her film Raavan.

Golden Kela Awards, organized by Random magazine, is a spin-off of Hollywood’s Razzies to honour the worst in Bollywood every year. The award, which is based on public poll, is in its third year. Last year Abhishek Bachchan was given the award for worst accent, and the actor was present at the award ceremony to accept the Dara Singh Award for Worst Accent for his attempt to speak in an American accent in Delhi 6.

Salman Khan's blockbuster Dabangg has not been nominated under any category.

The award ceremony will be held on March 2 and will be hosted by Cyrus Broacha.

Surprise Birthday from Aishwarya Rai to hubby Abhishek Bachchan: Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan, who is currently shooting in New Zealand for Abbas Mastan’s ‘Players’, is in for a surprise birthday Saturday as wife Aishwarya and his friends are planning to visit his sets and take him out for some thrilling adventure sports.

Abhishek’s friends will be flying down to New Zealand to indulge him in his favorite adventure sports. Aishwarya is planning a surprise 35th birthday for her husband, according to sources.

The sources said, the friends and Aishwarya have planned an entire day of bungee jumping, white water rapids and zorbing since Abhishek is a complete adventure junkie.

‘Abhishek’s friends plan to fly down to New zealand where he is shooting to surprise him. Abbas Mastan have decided to give the unit a break and celebrate his birthday in a big way. Since he loves adventure sports but hasn’t got the time to indulge in them thanks to his hectic schedule his friends decided to surprise him and have booked an entire day of interesting activities,’ a source told IANS.

Abhishek, who will celebrate his 35th birthday tomorrow began his career with J.P. Dutta’s ‘Refugee’ (2000). He then went on to give a string poorly received films, but his performances in ‘Main Prem Ki Diwani Hoon’ (2003) and Mani Ratnam’s ‘Yuva’ (2004) proved his mettle as an actor.

The same year, he starred in ‘Dhoom’ his first commercial hit and in 2005, Abhishek, shot to fame with four movies that did well commercially – ‘Bunty Aur Babli’, ‘Sarkar’, ‘Dus’, and ‘Bluffmaster’.

In 2007, the actor starred in ‘Guru’, receiving much acclaim for his performance, and the film emerged as his first solo hit. Later he went on to films like ‘Sarkar Raj’, ‘Dostana’, ‘Delhi-6′ and ‘Paa’ among others.

The actor has a full kitty this year with four films ‘Game’, ‘Dum Maro Dum’, ‘Players’ and ‘Bol Bachchan’.

Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan: Got ‘Power Couple’ Title: Bollywood’s golden couple Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan have been bestowed with the recognition of ‘Power Couple’ by the esteemed Stardust magazine. The mega stars got the title recently at the launch of the latest issue of Stardust in Delhi. Abhishek and Aishwarya graced the occasion as they lifted the veil off to reveal their own photos as the cover page.

Abhishek and Aishwarya tied the nuptial knot around 4 years back on 20th April, 2007. Since then, the two have had an amazing off-screen chemistry and they always look head over heels in love with each other whenever they are spotted together.
